Sands and Gravels

A comprehensive range of Washed Sands and Gravels are available from the group's quarries.

These include a variety of sands, such as Sharp, Washed Concreting Sand used in the production of ready mixed concrete or for bedding in block paviours and slabs.

Also a selection of sands are stocked suitable for making mortars, as used in laying bricks, blocks and natural stone on building sites, as well as plastering sand, rendering and floor screeding sand.

Washed and Graded Shingle is produced suitable for pipebedding and drainage work, also for the use in the manufacture of ready mixed and precast concrete.

Decorative Shingle

Shingle can also be used as a decorative surface dressing for footpaths, driveways and landscaping purposes. These include the popular 20mm ‘Oxford’ or ‘Cotswold’ shingle and Cotswold Chippings, as well as the various Flint and Quartz based alternatives.

Recycled Aggregates

There is a commitment to generate and produce recycled materials. This can be done either on site, using our mobile crushing and screening equipment or by taking material to one of our recycling centres.

Crushed and Graded Limestone

The group's quarries produce a comprehensive range of quality Crushed and Graded Limestone. These products have many uses, including use as a Gabion Stone, the construction of riding arenas, menages, tennis courts and sports pitches, agricultural lime, vibropiling, drainage work, civil engineering and highways projects as well as hardcore and general fill.

Natural Cotswold Blockstone

The Broadway Quarry yields a Cotswold Limestone in several shades, which is supplied as Raw Block suitable for Building Stone, Masonry Products, flooring and paving.

Site Excavations and Groundworks

The group's haulage, plant, mobile crushing and tipping facilities enable it to offer a complete site clearance and bulk excavation package. All of which can be arranged and overseen by it's suitably experienced and qualified Construction Manager.

This could also extend to Groundworks and Construction services, including the supply and fixing of fill and sub-base materials, concrete works, drainage, site remediation, road and track construction, hardstandings and more general groundwork operations.

Haulage and Plant Hire

The company operates a fleet of 38 Tipper Lorries, split between 4, 6 and 8 wheel vehicles, as well as Articulated Lorries, which can also adapt to perform low loader work.

The haulage fleet enables the company to provide a comprehensive delivery service for it's own products whilst being available for carting excavated material from site, daywork and general hire.

Plant which is available for hire include 360° Excavators ranging from 13 tonne to 23 tonne in size, Crawler Excavator/Dozers, JCB type Backhoe Excavators together with Mobile Crushing and Screening equipment. All come with very experienced and skilled operators.
