    The most common sizes we supply are 10mm and 20mm gravel. 10mm is usually best for pathways, as it is easy to walk on. The 20mm is best for drives, because the smaller 10mm gravel may get into the treads of car tyres.

    Gravel is calculated by volume. As a guide, 30 sq meters, to a depth of 25 mm (1 inch), will require 1 tonne of gravel.

Our range of decorative shingle includes a number of products that can be used in a variety of settings. As already stated these products are commonly used for driveways, footpaths and landscaping purposes and include flint, a selection of Quartz, a variety of Chippings and the Cotswold shingle range.

Most of these products come in a selection of sizes (ranging from 6mm to 40mm). With the majority of our decorative shingles being sourced from our own ‘Gill Mill’ and ‘Duns Tew’ quarries.

If you wish to have a smoother, firm or compacted path or drive, why not consider our self binding path gravel. It is ideal for heavy foot-traffic, wheelchair or cycle users, and it looks great too.
