Concrete Aggregates

We supply a full range of aggregates for making ready mixed concrete products and domestic home mixed concrete. All materials comply with the requirements of BS EN 12620 the euro standard for concrete aggregates.

The basic method is to blend sand and shingle to the desired proportions, add cement for the required strength, and then add water to attain a suitable workability for the project. The resultant mix is then placed either in prepared formwork or, as in precast operations into a prepared mould. This is then left to harden and kept moist until cured. This will result in a hard durable material for footpaths, driveways and hard standings or any hard landscaping application where concrete is required. These materials are also suitable for over sites, floors and many applications in the construction industry.
