We have a robust in-house preventative maintenance schedule and vehicle replacement programme. This enables us to keep our fleet in a roadworthy condition whilst minimising our impact on the environment using Euro 6 technology.

Freight Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS)

We have Silver accreditation which recognises our high standards of fleet management and operations, vehicle upkeep and driver training.

London Direct Vision Standard (DVS)

All our vehicles comply with the standard and have been issued with permits to operate in and around the Capital.

Vehicle Safety Equipment

All our vehicles are fitted with a 360 degree camera system to enhance the drivers view from the cab. Recording equipment and satellite tracking combine to record every vehicle journey. Our vehicles are also fitted with audible reversing alarms, left hand turn alarms and sensors to alert the driver of movement around the vehicle.

Vulnerable Road User (VRU) Safety

All of the additional safety equipment fitted to our trucks helps our drivers to operate safely in busy urban areas and in remote rural locations.

Driver Training

All our drivers undertake a rigorous selection and induction programme followed up by continual improvement training. Subjects such as safe and fuel efficient driving techniques and safe urban driving are covered. This has included drivers riding bicycles around Oxford to get the perspective of cyclists riding in busy city traffic.
