Quality Policy Statement

Smith and Sons (Bletchington) are committed to supplying aggregates and services which meets the needs and expectations of its customers and satisfy any related regulatory and statutory requirements.

The Company is also committed to continually improving the effectiveness of its Quality Management System to ensure an increasing level of customer satisfaction.

The Company shall operate a Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with the requirements set out in ISO9001:2015. In addition, we are committed to the following:

Aggregates are produced to the correct relevant standards and all aggregates supplied for concrete are UKCA Marked.
Recycled Aggregates are produced to the correct WRAP protocol.
Management is committed to maintaining the Quality Management System, continually improving the effectiveness.
Relevant elements of the QMS will be made available to interested parties.
Smiths & Sons are dedicated in making sure that all relevant staff are trained and understand the Quality Management System. Also making sure staff are fully trained on their responsibilities for delivering a quality service and products to our customers.
The Quality Management System will also include a commitment to satisfy applicable requirements and includes a commitment to continual improvements of the quality management system. Smiths will endeavour to continually improve the performance of the QMS whilst also satisfying all of our applicable requirements.
To build a good relationship with our interested parties and to continue to assist on quality of any products.
To make sure any quality objectives are completed in the required time scale.

The above quality commitments will provide the framework set in our quality objectives.

The company will review the Quality Policy every 12 months or if there is significant change with the company. The Policy Statement will be available to all interested parties who have a vested interest in Smiths & Sons Quality Policy.
