BAA Awards 2020

In 2020 Smiths Gill Mill Quarry were proud to win the British Aggregates Association (BAA) Quarry of the Year. The award followed the successful accreditation of the quarry under the rigorous ‘Assessment of Operating Standards’ scheme run by the BAA. The Scheme  provides third party accreditation to members’ operations, demonstrating that the operating standards in their quarries meet the standards necessary to demonstrate that they are being managed and operated competently.
